Amye and Tyler’s Glacier National Park Micro wedding
Amye and Tyler decided to ditch a traditional wedding venue and have a Glacier National Park microwedding surrounded by beautiful views and their favorite people instead. We started the morning of their micro wedding day with a hike to Avalanche Lake in Glacier National Park, which is my absolute favorite hike in the park! When we had almost reached the lake, a momma moose and her baby trotted across the trail, and if that isn’t amazing luck on your day, I don’t know what is!
Before their ceremony, they opted to have a first touch and say a prayer together and it was such a beautiful thing to witness. They had such a beautiful micro wedding ceremony and reception with their friends and family at the Avalanche Creek Amphitheater along the Trail of the Cedars. The sun glistened through the trees so beautifully and you could tell how much everyone appreciated being able to witness the two of them say “I do.” They celebrated being husband and wife with their guests with boxed wine, charcuterie boxes, and a few dances. After the reception, we headed out on a sunset adventure along the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park to get some beautiful sunset portraits of the two of them.
Although breaking away from planning a traditional wedding leaves you with less of the resources that normal couples have – don’t let that stop you from having an elopement or micro wedding if you feel pulled in that direction! I absolutely love to help couples follow their hearts to have the day of their dreams, whether it be in Glacier National Park or elsewhere! Please don’t hesitate to visit my Glacier National Park wedding and elopement page for more information about working with me to have your beautiful wedding day captured or contact me and we can chat more.
