Maggie and Cody are both doctors who own XSeed Chiropractic located about 20 minutes from Glacier National Park in Columbia Falls, Montana. Another photographer and I were in the Glacier National Park area and she reached out to them to see if they would be up for modeling for us to do a “for fun” shoot in the park while she was in Montan and they said yes! As a photographer, I love doing styled shoots with “model” couples because it gives me so much opportunity to experiment, try new things, and give other couples inspiration for how their elopement day could look.
Rent a Jeep for Your Adventures
I absolutely love the idea of couples taking their rental car game to the next level and getting a jeep for their trip to Montana. Not only would it allow you to navigate the terrain in some of the off-the-beaten-path areas, but it would be so fun to drive around in! Especially if there’s a removable top that you can take off and feel the wind in your hair along the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park (or the Beartooth Highway)… can you tell I’ve dreamed of doing just this?!
Get into the Water
I also loved how fun and romantic the photos were of the two of them along the shore of Lake McDonald and in the lake itself. There’s something so special and calming about the water in lakes in Montana and I 100% encourage ending your day running (or jumping) right in and embracing getting your wedding attire wet in the process!
