Adventure Elopement in Grand Teton National Park
Katie and Alvaro chose to elope in Wyoming with only two dear friends and their little one and it was a wonderful reflection of their love from sunrise to way past sunset. When planning their Grand Teton elopement, it was important for them that they had space to be adventurous while going with the flow and having their relationship captured authentically and I feel so stoked to have been part of their day!
Sunrise Hike in Jackson Hole Wyoming
We chose a hike outside of Grand Teton that promised breathtaking views overlooking Jackson Hole without a long drive early in the morning. As is often the case with sunrise hikes, we started before the sun with headlamps lighting the way as we scaled the mountain! It was remarkable hearing the city slowly wake up below us as we continued to gain elevation and make our way along the trail. When we neared the top, there was a thick cloud surrounding us but we all agreed that we loved the mood of it for their picnic and some photos afterward!
Golden Hour Vows at Schwabacher’s Landing
Following our early morning adventure, we took a mid-day break for showers, naps, and preparing for their wedding ceremony! Katie and Alvaro went their separate ways before they got ready and had their first look along the shore of the Snake River in Grand Teton. One of their friends officiated their ceremony and the two of them exchanged vows in one of my favorite ceremony locations in the park, Schwabacher’s Landing. Afterward, they popped champagne and embraced the beautiful golden hour light for photos, and let me just say… wow! The lighting and everything were simply stunning.
Celebrating with Pizza and S’mores by the Fire
Can you think of a better way to finish your elopement day than pizza and s’mores?! Me neither! They enjoyed a pizza picnic in a field and then we headed to Gros Ventre Campground for a cozy campfire to end their elopement in Grand Teton!
