Ryan Beach Wedding in Glacier National Park
Montana’s Glacier National Park set the stage for the enchanting marriage of Lauren and CJ, and guess what? Yours truly had the absolute pleasure of joining them and their family, being the photographer for their special day. Let me share all about their magical wedding adventure through the mountains and meadows of Glacier National Park.
The day kicked off in the town of Columbia Falls, where the couple got ready in a rustic cabin surrounded by their closest family members. When I walked in, Lauren’s sister was putting the finishing touches on her hair, and I thought it was beyond special for her to have her sister play such an important role on her day. After Lauren slipped into her stunning off-the-shoulder dress with the most beautiful intricate lace details, CJ got ready in his handsome brown suit, and we were ready for the two of them to see each other for the first time!
The first look was filled with smiles and happiness. After CJ’s mom helped with putting on the boutonniere, it was time to head off to the park for their wedding at Ryan Beach!
The ceremony was nothing short of a fairytale. With the tranquil waters of Lake McDonald in the background and surrounded by family, Lauren and CJ exchanged vows on Ryan Beach, guided by the wonderful Raul Rodriguez, their chosen officiant. I must say that the joy and happiness radiating from their family added that extra sprinkle of magic to an already heartfelt occasion.
Post-ceremony, everyone retreated back to the Airbnb for some relaxation and celebration with a delicious charcuterie spread and a cake (from Montana Wildflour Baking Co) that was basically a slice of heaven. Because, you know, what’s a celebration without some good eats?!
After we all had some good mid-day rest, the three of us reconvened and continued their wedding adventure up the Going-to-the-Sun Road at Big Bend! Surrounded by lush meadows and towering mountains, they quietly shared intimate vows. It was beautiful and peaceful, and I loved that they were able to experience a ceremony with family while still having a heartfelt exchange of vows. After the vow exchange, we spent some time in the area and I couldn’t get over how amazing Lauren’s bouquet looked with the landscape! After some amazing photo ops, the day wrapped up back at Lake McDonald, where they cozied up on a blanket, sipped champagne, and savored the last moments of daylight on the shore.
Lauren and CJ’s adventure in Glacier National Park was the best celebration of love; from their Ryan Beach wedding ceremony to yummy food with loved ones and heartfelt vows high in the park. Cheers to Lauren and CJ and the start of a lifetime of married adventures!
