Story of Their Vail Colorado Wedding

Briana and Daniel’s Vail, Colorado wedding at Manor Vail Lodge was the perfect destination spot for their loved ones to travel to to celebrate their love! I spent two days with the two of them capturing the experience.

Microwedding at Sapphire Point Overlook

Day one was a microwedding at Sapphire Point Overlook in Breckenridge with their closest loved ones (and dog, Nugget)! Before their ceremony when I arrived at The Arrabelle in Lionshead to capture getting-ready photos for Briana, I was amazed at the hotel’s beauty. Nods to the architecture of classic European ski towns are everywhere and I couldn’t resist trying to memorialize that for her by taking getting-ready photos out on the balcony area.

Briana and Daniel saw each other for the first time near his lodging at Manor Vail Lodge. It took place on the most beautiful bridge and made for a romantic, picturesque moment!

For their ceremony, their pup and a handful of loved ones joined them at Sapphire Point Overlook to witness them formally getting married and saying “I do” to each other. Following that, they ventured to a nearby mountain pass surrounded by snow and windy conditions to exchange more private vows together and promise forever to one another.

For day two, they had a great celebration at Manor Vail Lodge complete with a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing with a larger group of friends and loved ones. Some of my favorite photos from this day are the joy that exudes from the two of them during the dancing at the end of the night! Daniel looked at Briana with so much love and both of their smiles were beyond contagious.
