Multi-Day Adventure Wedding in Glacier National Park
Abby and Beau feared that having a more traditional wedding would become more about their guests than for themselves so they decided to have a wedding in Glacier National Park instead surrounded by only their closest friends and family. After being together for ten years, there was nothing that felt more “right” to them than combining having an intimate wedding in a stunning national park and adventuring with one another as husband and wife.
“Jessica is absolutely amazing! After having our first phone conversation with her, we knew she was the wedding photographer for us – it was like we’d known her forever and talking to her was so easy. She always listened to what we wanted and helped us with permits, passes, our marriage license and knowing everything we needed to make our Glacier National Park wedding day as smooth as possible. Our photos turned out beautiful and we had a lot of fun with her throughout our whole process. She dedicated so much time to us and never made us feel rushed. She got our photos to us very quickly and always responded to our emails promptly. We would highly recommend her!” – Abby and Beau S.
Their Glacier National Park Wedding Day and Day-After Adventure
Sun Point Wedding Ceremony and Sunset Exploring
We made the drive from Whitefish to Sun Point on the Saint Mary side of Glacier National Park for their wedding ceremony and these views could not have been more well-worth the drive! The weather was cloudy which brought out the most beautiful coloring and this windy area gave such a windswept and wanderlust-filled look to their photos.
Afterward we took some family photos and enjoyed a mini-reception filled with local deserts (including some of the best salted chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted) before they departed and we spent more time exploring along Sun Point and then soaking in the sunset along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
Morning Hike to Roaring Waterfalls
We regrouped not too long after we said goodbye to soak in the sunrise at one of my favorite spots along the Going to the Sun Road followed by a hike to two of my favorite waterfalls in Glacier National Park! The morning light was out of this world and when we made it to the waterfall, the two of them enjoyed some wine that Abby got during a trip to Italy. They even brought a glass for me, it was the sweetest thing!
Their Highlight Film
This highlight film of their Glacier National Park Wedding was something that I recorded alongside capturing photos of their day and I hope you enjoy watching it!
