Arizona Engagement Photos at Lost Dutchman State Park
Lost Dutchman State Park is the perfect location for your Arizona Engagement Photos. This breathtaking park is nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains about an hour from Phoenix and is filled with some of the most beautiful desert vegetation you can imagine!
Planning Your Lost Dutchman Engagement Photos
There are only a few fees you have to take into account when planning your engagement photos here. A $7-$10 park entrance fee is required depending on the time of year (and day of the week) you’re visiting the park. You’ll also need to be sure to secure a photo permit, which is just a small fee of $50 which goes back to supporting Arizona State Parks & Trails. This is something your photographer can get in advance or secure the day of at the ranger station at the entrance.
Joanna and Cody’s Engagement Session
Just hours after Joanna said “yes” to her elopement wedding dress, she and Cody met me at Lost Dutchman State Park for their engagement photos. The weather was simply stunning and warm – something I could definitely get used to experiencing in the winter!
The three of us had so much fun exploring around this park nestled in the Sonoran Desert. I felt so endlessly inspired by their joy-filled connection with one another and the stunning landscapes we were surrounded by. We adventured around and took photos in the golden sunlight of sunset until there wasn’t a bit of sun left for us to soak up. I’m so thankful that at the end it wasn’t a goodbye and I’ll get to capture the two of them again for their elopement this upcoming August.
